Owen Gingerich: Purpose and Time

I totally agree with Gingerich that we are here for a reason instead of just being here by chance. He also believes that God is so complex that he just gives us little mortals to make us think that we know alot about how life works but in reality we will never be able to comprehend the universe. He talks about there being no element on the periodic table with a mass of 5. He believes that God did this on purpose so that humans arent able to make life therefore concluding there was no big bang theory. He also talks about what happened before the big bang. He says that Einstein talks about time requires change and motion. When there was nothing there was no change or motion so its impossible to wrap our minds around that idea. Everything that we do as humans deals with a time factor: our lives in the past, what we are currently doing in the present and what we will do with our lives in the future. CHAKS TAKE
